National rhinology research

He was actively involved in the multicentre Waypoint and MACRO trials and completed requirements to be recognised as an Associate Principal Investigator for the MACRO trial.

Education

Mr Omakobia holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education with Distinction, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators. His teaching has included rhinology dissection courses, regional training days and surgical examination preparation.
