Mr Omakobia's principal clinical interest is rhinology: the assessment and treatment of problems affecting the nose and paranasal sinuses. His fellowship training included advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, frontal sinus surgery, functional and structural nasal surgery, and anterior skull base work.
He also treats a range of routine adult and paediatric ENT conditions and undertakes endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) for selected watery-eye patients jointly with an oculoplastic ophthalmology colleague, with an emphasis on careful diagnosis, clear explanation and a treatment plan tailored to the individual.

Alongside clinical work, Mr Omakobia has contributed to national and multicentre research, including the MACRO and Waypoint projects, and has published across ENT and rhinology. He co-authored a chapter on diagnosis and management of facial pain in the 9th edition of Scott-Brown's Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
